Dear Colleagues,
With great excitement, we would like to invite you to register for the ISSWSH Genitopelvic Pain Course. In 2022, we launched the first Genitopelvic Pain Course and it was very well received by over 450 attendees. Back by popular demand, we are relaunching the course with the original content videos and will be adding an additional hour of live interactive discussion with the faculty and moderators of each of the 6 modules. With high-yield topics and an interactive format, this course provides applicable information and tools that you can directly use to diagnose, treat, and support your patients suffering with vulvovaginal and pelvic pain. This course is relevant for all healthcare providers who have an interest in female genitopelvic pain, including MDs, NPs, PAs, PTs, CNMs and mental health providers.
The Genitopelvic Pain Course will involve 6 two-hour virtual webinars that you can view on-demand and 6 one-hour live interactive discussions spanning from April 2024 to January 2025. In this innovative virtual course, practitioners will learn how to confidently diagnose and treat the many causes of pelvic pain. Sessions are organized by presenting symptoms, opening with “The Tools” and then progressing to symptoms and conditions of the vulvar vestibule, the clitoris, the bladder and urethra, the vulva, and the pelvis. Engaging experts in the field of Female Sexual Medicine will break down specialized topics, including Provoked Vestibulodynia (PVD), Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM), vulvar dermatoses, Bladder Pain Syndrome (BPS), pudendal neuralgia, and Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD).
This longitudinal course will provide you with the tools and support to increase your knowledge and clinical skills in diagnosing and treating genitopelvic pain, while applying your knowledge along the way!
