Dear Colleagues,
We were pleased to offer the first-ever ISSWSH Advanced Hormones Course, featuring world leaders in female hormone physiology guiding participants on a journey down the “Hormone Highway.” Through high-yield topics and an interactive format, the course provided practical information and tools that clinicians could apply directly to educate, diagnose, and treat patients navigating complex hormonal transitions and changes that can contribute to sexual dysfunction.
This course was designed for healthcare providers with an interest in female hormone physiology, including MDs, NPs, PAs, CNMs, mental health providers, and physical therapists.
The Advanced Hormones Course includes seven (7) two-hour virtual webinars (14 CEUs), originally presented from April 2025 through March 2026. All modules are now available exclusively on-demand and may be accessed at your convenience.
The course features a series of virtual didactics covering the physiology of the hormones that drive transitions throughout the life course, including:
- Puberty
- Pregnancy
- Gender affirmation
- Perimenopause
- Menopause
- Androgens
- Cancer
Each two-hour session includes approximately 90 minutes of didactic content presented through the lens of sexual function, followed by 30 minutes of expert Q&A.
This longitudinal course provides participants with tools and support to expand their knowledge and clinical skills in applying hormone physiology to improve sexual health outcomes for their patients.
